Have you ever been in a tough spot, so tough that no matter what you do things will only get worse. I have. That's why I wrote this song.

Many times it’s easier to just move on through life and not confront issues that are hurting us. Issues with ones work, relationships, addiction or whatever is weighing on us. In the case of this song “Put it on a Shelf” was a problem relationship. It got so complex with families and friends intertwined that I felt there was no way out. Procrastination was the easier and less painful course because there was no easy way to get to the inevitable end.

Don't think about your problem, ignore it, Put It On A Shelf.
